Management and Organizational structure

HDI management structure is designed to encourage flexibility and autonomy on the part of its management and support staff. The structure creates space of intellectual creativity and innovation and provides encouragement to staff members and other partners to adopt desirable working conditions.

It is also designed to ensure maximum accountability and high-quality output. The key management organs of HDI comprise the Board of Trustees, Executive Director, Programmes officers and support staff. For the smooth day-to-day running of operations as well as effectively and efficiently targeted administration of interventions, HDI has developed functional management practices, stringent internal control systems and policies to monitor key management aspects and outputs.

In the board of trustees HDI have people who are well versed in the NGO world and also have experienced in the working with international organizations and UN agencies. In the management HDI have support staff that are skilled in various field of specialization that are needed to undertake its projects.
