Operational Perspective
All of HDI’s programmes are founded on the viewpoint that local people are essentially responsible for their own development and that of their groups and communities and that participatory approaches are the most effective tools in realizing broad-based development. Programmes are all open to all with no restriction to religion, Age, Gender, Race or tribal heritage and special attention is given to women where 55% of program participants are women.
Promoting the qualities of integrity, truthfulness, tolerance, service, friendship, mutual cooperation and good neighbors are all the foundation of all HDI’s activities. HDI prioritizes in community resilience building and harmonizing the communities through the establishment of multi-sectoral beneficiary projects.
